I am looking for varieties of camellias that are dwarf varieties. Can you please recommend some? Thank you. |
Here are a few suggestions: 'Winter's Rose' is a dwarf Camellia; ten year old plants will probably be 3 feet across and only 3 feet tall. Pale pink semi-double flowers are produced in profusion in early fall. Camellia sasanqua Paradise Sylvia. Sylvia is a slow growing compact sasanqua camellia that will grow in full sun to shade, it is very hardy and has small petite deep green leaves. When it flowers the small single crimson flowers with their contrasting bright yellow stamens contrast perfectly against its rich deep green foliage. As a tub specimen for a patio or courtyard sylvia will impress and is a worthy addition to any garden. If stunning bright Crimson flowers don?t fit your color scheme, then try Camellia sasanqua Baby Jane. Baby Jane is a very slow growing Dwarf sasanqua Camellia ideally suited to low Borders or hedges. When it flowers it has the most delicate small semi double white edged bright pink flowers that also look amazing against its small deep green foliage. Hope you find one you like! |
