| Angela, I assume you are talking about GIANT BIRD OF PARADISE (Strelitzia nicolai). There is not a way to get the trunk to be shorter. If you cut out a long trunk the plant will produce small side plant that will take some time before they too grow too large. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
