How much of the Dark Knight Bluebeard plant should it be cut back when it goes dormant? Thank you, Marvin

They can be cut back quite severely in spring before the new growth starts because they bloom on new wood. If cut back in winter, then you have to look at "sticks" until new foliage starts. You can also lightly trim back after initial blooming to encourage a second round. Good luck with this plant!
