Do you sell artichoke plants? Will they grow in Florida (Zone 9)?

Burpee sells seeds for 'Imperial Star Hybrid' artichoke, which produces tasty buds the first year (in about 95 days) but not plants. Globe Artichoke does best in parts of coastal California, where it thrives in the frost-free area and cool, foggysummers. However, it can be grown from Maine to Florida. 'Green Globe' is a variety recommended for Florida. Park Seed has the seeds in their 1998 catalog on page 46.

Jerusalem Arichoke (a species of sunflower that has tuberous roots) can be grown in Florida. Propagation is
very similar to that of potatoes and the tubers are used similarly, and are great for folks who can't eat potatoes. The plants are tall and beautiful, and can be invasive. Burpee sells tubers if you're interested.
