I have lost a beautiful fuschia to gall mites. My nursery man said I had probably stressed it with too much water. I should remove it but it is next to a 3 year old Jacaranda tree. Since gall mites come through the wood, will removing the fuschia cause the mites to seek out my Jacaranda or other shrubs and trees. What can I do? Help!

I understand your concern, but Fuchsia gall mite (Aculops fuchsiae) is only interested in fuchsia plants. Only other fuchsias in your garden might be at risk - but not your Jacaranda or other shrubs or trees.
