i want to know about pygmy date palm.and can they be separated to plant.i just got two of them.and where would be the best place to put them in the yard? |
Darlene, If you have two palms growing in a container you can separate them to plant them in different places. They will lose some roots in the process of separation but with good care will recover in time. They need a sunny to part shade location. They may be a little cold tender for your area so you should consider planting them in a protected area such as near the home or a tall wall. The following web site will provide more info for you on that palm. http://hort.ifas.ufl.edu/trees... If I misunderstood your question please submit another to the Home Depot website, providing more specific details about what it is you are asking. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
