Will blueberries grow and fruit along the northern California coast. I have some property in Point Arena CA and would like to plant blueberries. There are huckleberries growing in the wild there.

Because of your mild climate your selection is limited, but blueberries can be successfully grown in your region. Choose Sharpblue, an early spring bearing blueberry that does not need a pollinator. If you have room for more than one plant, Bluebelle and Southland will pollinate each other.
