| I don't know the first thing about lawn care (but to keep cutting it) and I see alot of people setting fire to their lawns around my community. What is the purpose of burning my yard and should I consider doing it also? |
| Chris, Wow, I would not recommend it. Most communities don't allow such things. If the grass returns after burning it must be bermudagrass or zoysiagrass. Burning removes the thatch layer but such should not be necessary if the turf if managed properly (mowing, watering and fertilizing). Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
