Have line of Dianella plants along side of front walk and after first twoyears they seem to have many clumps or partial sectins that are turning brown, withering and dying out. Can you tell me what is wrong? Need more or less wateer or fertilizer? B. Gladstone |
Bernard, It is difficult to know what the cause might be based only on those symptoms. It could be due to poor soil drainage (soggy soil conditions) or due to a disease organism. . I suggest that you take a sample from the plant along with a photo of the plant in its growing location (if possible) to your County Extension Office to see if they can help diagnose the problem and recommend an appropriate course of action.
