In my front yard I have a border at the edge of my lawn. I live in zone 8 and it gets full sun. I love Pink Jasmine and wondered if I could plant it there. I have seen White jasmine planted in this fashion all overtown. It makes a nice ground cover and smells great in the summer. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you, Mary

PINK JASMINE (Jasminum polyanthum) can be used as a ground cover. It won't hug the ground but will undulate in the same manner as vinca minor so you'll see both high and low areas. As long as your border is at least 2-3 feet wide, Pink Jasmine should look quite attractive next to your lawn.
