Which trees grow quickly in Phoenix, but don't drop fruit? |
By fruit, I'm not sure if you mean "real" fruit, such as citrus or dates, or any type of seedpod. All trees drop some litter, such as seasonal beanpod drop from the legumes or flower drop from orchid trees. Here are some fast-growing, well-adapted trees with low litter. Be sure to compare their mature sizes with the space you have for them to grow, both height and width: shoestring acacia, blue palo verde, palo brea, desert willow, sissoo, or honey or velvet mesquites. Hope these ideas help! |
