| Nandina is a very hardy plant, however it might have suffered some shock from being transplanted. Or, if it was a cold night and it was just removed from a greenhouse, it might have some cold damage. Or, since this plant usually has "sunrise" coloring on at least some of the growth all the time, you may be seeing something normal. You need to make sure the soil is kept slightly moist while they become established. Water as needed to keep it moist like a wrung out sponge, not sopping wet. Use your finger to dig into the soil and check if you need to water. If you are not sure of the coloring, please check with your retailer to make sure it is nothing serious. Enjoy your nandinas! |
