I am looking for a summer blooming shade loving all season compact shrub for an in deck planter. Any suggestions? I was considering a hardy fuschia but they look dead a large part of the seasons. Any ideas? Thanks a million! Debbie

Although it doesn't bloom in the summer, camellia is an outstanding evergreen shrub. They come in all kinds of colors and flower shapes and grow well in your area. The dwarf types can be pruned to remain small and compact. Best wishes with your landscape!
