Is there a forsythia which matures to about 6-8 feet tall and is just that wide? I've seen the Lywood Gold forsythia, which grows to 10' x 12', this is too large for my small front yard, which needs some hedge protection from my neighbor's home, which is very close to mine. I have 2 Ligustrum Japonica that I'd llike to space between 3 of the forsythia along my property line, from the house to the street. Thank you.

Donna,

Mature size on Forsythia of for most shrubs for that matter is greatly controlled by soil, fertility, moisture, etc. That said here are some Monrovia Forsythias and their estimated landscape size:

KUMSON KOREAN GREENSTEM FORSYTHIA 6 ft. tall, 5 ft. wide.
FIESTA FORSYTHIA 5-6 ft. tall and wide.
MAGICAL GOLD FORSYTHIA 5 ft. tall, 4 ft. wide.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
