HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WATER TOMATOES PLANTED IN CONTAINERS? (5 gallon). and when is the best time
and how often should i apply lime to my lawn.

Your tomatoes will need to be watered when the soil begins to dry. Use your finger to dig into the soil and feel it. If it is still damp you do not need to water yet. When you do water, make sure to water slowly and thoroughly.

Lime can be applied any time the ground is not frozen. You would need to run some soil tests to check the pH and then lime if the tests indicate a need for it. Your local county extension or professionally trained garden center staff should be able to help you with the testing and interpreting the results. It is important to test so you know how much is needed, or, if it has been limed in the past few years you may not need to apply any yet. Lime is slow acting and it usually has an effect lasting several years.
