How do I prune Dwarf Fountain Grass (Pennisetum Hameln)?

To keep your fountain grass looking attractive, shear the dead portions back to 3" above the ground by late March (use gloves when handling the subtlely serrated foliage), to allow the new growth to emerge unhindered. It is generally recommended that the clumps be dug and divided every 3-4 years. Enjoy!
