I want to know if I can put a Picea Pungens Iseli Foxtail Spruce on the east side of my house. It will get filtered morning sun and some morning sun, but it will be in the shade in the afternoon.

Unfortunately I think this will be far too shady. Spruces do best in full sun, and a minimum would be about six hours of direct morning sun including the hour of noon. I wish I could be more encouraging.
