We're happy to help with your gardening questions. Allysum will tolerate shade but grows and flowers best in full sunshine. Creeping phlox prefers full sun and will develop powdery mildew if the site is too shady. If you're looking for annuals that bloom and grow in shady areas, how about trying lobelia (available in white, blue or pink) and impatiens (pink, white, sometimes available in coral)?
