I want to buy a hibiscus tree and keep it indoors. I would keep it in my sunroom which gets lots of bright light. Is it OK to do this? Do I need any special instructions for keeping it inside?

Mary,

Hibiscus needs almost full sun to do well. I think your sunroom may do but it is not for sure. Keep the plant in as bright of an area as you can, turn it once or twice a week if it seems to be growing toward the predominate light direction. Water only enough to keep the soil moist, but not too wet. Fertilize with a soluble plant food according to label directions.
