Tutti Frutti azalea - Knowledgebase Question

I have specified the Tutti Frutti Azalea for a client here in Georgia. We are in the Metro Atlanta area. We wanted an evergreen, yellow flowering shrub that tolerates shade. Our contractor can't seem to find it locally. Can you tell us from your current inventories and distribution, where we can find these azaleas at this time? If not, is there a substitute with the same atributes and size?

Thanks

Melissa,

Unfortunately we at the Q&A service don't have information on which plants are sold at the many retailers who carry Monrovia plants. Due to the seasonal nature of Monrovia's plants and limited quantities on many varieties, each garden center will offer a different array of plants. Not all plants are available in all regions at all times. Your best bet is to contact a local retailer and see if they can get the plants you are interested in.

Check out the following web site. It has a box for you to enter your zip code and will then give you a list of local retailers that carry Monrovia plants:

I am not aware of another azalea that is a close replacement for Tutti Frutti. If all else fails you may wish to order one online from the following source:

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
