Could you please direct me to a list of perrenial vegetables that would grow well in Central New York State?
|In a quick search unfortunately I am not able to find a specific list for you. There are not very many perennial vegetables traditionally grown in gardens. Off the top of my head I can think of asparagus and rhubarb and Jerusalem artichoke or sunchoke (Helianthus tuberosus -- it is not really an artichoke). All three would do well in your area. If you consider horseradish a vegetable, that would be another and you could grow it as well. There are other plants such as salad burnet, dandelion, and many herbs that might not be considered domesticated vegetables but would grow for you. If you are interested in that type of plant you might take a look at a book on edible wild plants as well. I hope this helps.|
