putting house plants outdoors - Knowledgebase Question

When is it safe to put a geranium outside that has been indoors all winter. I live in Baltimore and our weather is kind of unpredicable here.

When the night temps don't drop below about the lower to mid 50's you can move it outside. If you get a cold snap after that just move it in for the night. Don't put it in full sun suddenly but move it to more light gradually to avoid sunburn.
