After waiting years for my 2 santa rosa plum tree to have blooms, what type of fertilizer would be good to ensure more blossoms and fruit next year?

Your plum tree will produce more flowers as it matures. Plums are fast growing trees so it shouldn't take more than a few years for it to be covered with flowers each spring. For the most fruit, it will need another plum tree for pollination. Shiro is a good companion to Santa Rosa.
