|Just moved to a new home, the front yard is in direct sun all day, I am wanting to plant a flower garden but unsure of what type of plants I can use, Can anyone help me out there.|
There are many great choices for a sunny spot in south central Texas. Some flowers to consider include Amaranth (Joseph's Coat), Copper Plant, Cosmos, Cuphea (various types), Four-o'clocks, Gomphrena (bachelor button), Lantana, Melampodium, Moss Rose, Periwinkle, Portulaca, Rose Mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos), Salvia (many types including Indigo Spires and Salvia greggii), Sunflower, Tithonia, Verbena, Yellow Bells also called Esperanza (Tecoma stans), and Zinnia.
Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
