I am planting a 3 gallon Hick's yew as a foundation shrub next to my house. How far out from the house should I plant the Hick's yew. Is 2 feet far enough?

Hick's Yew can grow 4-6' wide so to give in ample room to grow without crowding, you'll want to keep it at least 6' from your foundation. You can prune it to keep it smaller and to promote good air circulation so if you need to plant it closer, you can. I'd still recommend keeping it at least 4' from the house. Enjoy your landscape!
