|I purchased one of your Elizateth Magnolias from Capital Nursery in Sacramento and want to plant it on a promentory in front of our home. It would be in full sun all day and in the summer it tends to get really hot here. I don't want to fry the plant if it can't take heat.
Thanks , Jeanette Chaix
|'Elizabeth' is heat tolerant and moderately drought tolerant, once established. This tree grows well in your gardening region and will take the summer heat, but shouldn't be planted where it will receive reflected heat and sunshine (such as surrounded by buildings and concrete). If you have an open space, this magnolia will provide you with healthy growth and beautiful yellow flowers.|
