|I planted my bottle brush tree this March. We had a slight drought and the is not looking so good. There is some new foliage, but in all it looks terrible. Will I be able to get it to blooming?|
A new plant can experience some transplant shock especially if the roots dried out in planting or if soil was not firmed in around the roots in the planting hole or if too little or too much water was provided in post planting care. Additionally a new plant will tend to just "sit there" for several weeks or months as it establishes a new root system so it can then support some good topgrowth. Keep the soil moist but not soggy wet. It should be fine and in time begin to put on new growth.
Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
