I want to plant my bleeding heart in a spot that will get some morning sun and then late afternoon sun around 3 or 4 pm. It is near a pine tree also.Would this be good planting spot for it?

The lighting conditions sound adequate, Dicentra will handle morning sun or late afternoon sun, but the more sun it receives the better it will bloom. The pine might be a problem in that it could have competing roots and if you are planting directly beneath it, the branches may block the rain from reaching the ground making it very dry there.
