| Dear Mornrovia, We are newer gardeners and have noticed that our maple tree leaves have small raised red spots. They don't seem to affect the leaves/trees, however just in case, is there something we should be doing. Thank you in advance for your response. Connie |
| Based on your description I suspect it is some sort of gall. These are not uncommon on maples and although they may look odd, usually do not harm the tree. If this is not what your tree has, you might consult with your local county extension for a more specific diagnosis.
