fox red curly sedge - Knowledgebase Question

Will this grass have evident new growth in the spring. Mine appears to still be very light brown in color. I can't decide if it is dead or not. There is a very small amount of a brown at the bottom.
I think it is dead and hate to throw it away too soon.

Fox Red Curly Sedge is hardy in your growing region and should begin developing new leaves when the weather warms up. I'd leave it alone for now. It may take a few more weeks of warm weather for it to begin growing again. Hope it does!
