Can soil be tested in spring when it is still wet? Our clay soil & high water table keep our ground boot-sucking wet until June. Our first frost is late September. Want to amend our soil to grow veggies THIS summer! How??

Sure! Just take a sloppy cup full of mud, bring it in the house and spread it out on some wax paper or something and let it dry out. Then send it off to be tested!

There should be information there as to how to get a soil test done.
