Hello, I use your mix for a variety of purposes. And, I study the contents of yours and other mixes as well as try to understand the basic needs of plants from all stand points. I'll now try to bring to life my questions. I have used composted pine bark in the past and have been taught to add dolomitic lime for the required calcium and other elements present in the mineral...At other times I have used mixes that were shown contain traces of iron and boron and other elements.

The current fashion seems to be for Mycorriza(sp) and in part for that reason I am now using your mix and for the simple reason that I trust your product.

Now for the question. The label for your mix while cpntaining all manner of info is silent as to the mineral content so often listed by others. I am wondering whether I have just learned the requirements incorrectly or that is that I am missing something.

I am not aware of the mineral content of the various mixes that Monrovia uses for their various types of plants. Generally plant growers add various slow release fertilizers to whatever mix they use to make sure it provides that needed nutrients. The mix itself it for holding water and added nutrients while still draining well. You can add whatever nutrient products at whatever levels you feel fit the plant you are growing or producing.
