I have 2 flowers containers on my deck that I had planted roses in the containers, but the roses got a disease... how do I clean the containers so I can plant other flowers in the container? Thanks.

The disease won't move to other plants unless it is one of a very few root rots. To be extra sure you can wash all soil off the container and then place it in a large container such as a trash can with 1 part bleach and 9 parts water. Let it sit for a couple of minutes then drain it and let it dry. It will then be ready to plant and any disease organisms will be killed.
