I'm a little confused as to whether this tree keeps its purple leaf color from Spring until fall? It says that normal foliage color is purple than proceeds to say that it is green except in the fall. Do the leaves stay purple like a ThunderCloud Plum?

Thank you,

Reddish tinge Foliage Shape Rounded
Normal foliage color Purple
Underside foliage Green
Juvenile foliage Green
Mature foliage Green
New foliage Green
Spring foliage Green
Summer foliage Green
Fall foliage Red

The foliage on this plant is changeable but it would not be considered green; it begins maroon, turns darker purple, fades a bit in late summer so it has a greenish tinge then turns bright red in the fall. It colors best in full sun. In a shadier site, and the on the lower or inner branches, it will be greener.
