| In the last 2 years I have noticed that my dogwood tree appears to be dying. One half of the tree is bare. The other half has very little leaves and some white flowers. It looks dried out. I want to save this tree. What can I do? |
| Fifty years is a very long time for a dogwood tree to live, so it may simply be that old age and stress caused by the droughts we have had in the past few years as well as this winter/spring have caught up with the tree. But, to see if anything can be done, I would strongly suggest you consult on site with a professionally trained and certified arborist. Or, you might consult with your local county extension. They might appreciate an overall photo of the tree and some closeups of any discolored foliage. I'm really sorry about your tree. |
