|A few months ago I purchased these two items. They basically were small twigs and now about are about 1 foot tall. I would like to take them from the pots that I was growing them in and plant them in the yard. Can you give me some advise on growing conditions and also the size these shrubs/trees will get?
|The viburnum (Viburnum opulus 'Sterile') will grow to be quite large, in the range of 12 feet tall and wide. The hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens "Annabelle") will be about three to four feet tall and wide and will need to be cut back to the ground every spring before it begins to grow for the season. Both will do best in all morning sun with soil that is acidic, humusy, and evenly moist yet well drained. The hydrangea will also do well in bright dappled light all day. Enjoy your shrubs!|
