Tibouchina urvilleana can be grown indoors, and since it's not frost-hardy, should be grown indoors in your gardening region. It grows best in full sunshine but if you can provide bright light, it should flower indoors for you. In the winter reduce the amount of water you give it; in the spring cut it back to encourage new growth. Best wishes with your Princess Flower.
