I've planted cayenne peppers in large pots on my patio. The leaves are curling and not growing uniformly. What am I doing wrong?

Debbie,

Pepper leaves will curl when temperatures turn warm sometimes. Certain species or varieties are more likely to do this. There is no concern for a small amout of curling. If you see major twisting and lack of color in the foliage it could be due to a virus or to herbicide damage. There is no cure of fix for either of these symptoms. You might want to take a photos of the foliage or a foliage sample to your County Extension Office to have the agent look it over. Seeing the problem makes for a much better diagnosis.
