| Lonnie, Those pots sound a little small for such plants. You will need to water them often and in a wind the plant's foliage and taller stature may cause them to blow over. I woul suggest the sky pencil holly for its smaller stature although the palm may be more tolerant of dry conditions, but it wouldn't take your winter cold.
