|I tried to contact you about a year ago regarding Erica verticillata 'Ruby Lace'. My interest is scientific and historical. I work at Kirstenbosch National Botanic Gardens and have found a number of clones (8) of this Erica in gardens around the world. We are very excited about this plant bexcause it is extinct in the wild and has conservation interest for us. We would like to do genetic studies to compare the different clones and would like to do this with yours as well. The ultimate plan is to have the widest genetic pool to draw from for restoring this species to its remaining habitat. Please will you contact me in this regard or put me on to someone who can help?
