I have a seed starting bed with heat cables in sand. I have started seeds in this bed and they come up very well but how long do I leave them in this heated location?

Bottom heat helps seeds germinate. After they have started growing, you can safely turn off the heat. Light and water are more important to the seedlings than heat is, so make sure the soil stays moist and they get 14-16 hours of bright light each day.
