PINK BOWER VINE (Pandorea jasminoides 'Rosea') is very well suited to growing in southern California. Its evergreen twining branches hold glossy bright green compound foliage creating a perfect background for the flowers. Bright pink trumpet-shaped blooms have rose pink throats for a lovely effect. Grow in full sun. Fast-growing to 15 to 25 feet long. It's relatively easy care; Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer. Provide support such as a trellis or arbor. Prune annually to control size.
