I have a ceanothus which has been growing in a container for two years. Up until last week it was looking very healthy. Then the leaves turned yellow and started to fall off. I have other plants in containers and they are all fine. I have checked for insects but found nothing. Could you please advise? |
Sudden decline usually indicates a root problem; too much or too little water, too much or two little fertilizer. I'd dig the plant and inspect the root system. You may find root rot or other problems. If you find dead or mushy roots, cut them away and then replant in fresh potting soil. Hope your ceanothus recovers! |
