Is there any good flowering plant that will flourish IN THE SHADE, that will attract and feed hummingbirds? Thanks.

Surprisingly, hummingbirds are attracted to hosta blooms; hostas are one of the top shade plants. I have also seen hummers sip from aquilegia, monarda and heuchera flowers and these will grow in partial shade (do well with some direct morning sun or very bright dappled light all day.) If possible, growing a wide variety of hummingbird plants in the general area will help attract them and then they will find their way to the shade plants. Massing the plants in groups also helps them to locate their favorites. Good luck with your project!
