|I have some acanthus and endless summer plants that were planted in full sun from 12-3 30. They look limp during that time but do recover after they get shade. They are also on a drip system. Is this the proper place for them or should they be in partial shade all day? thanks debbie thomson

|Your plants are showing distress from hot afternoon sunshine. It's perfectly normal and they usually recover overnight. If you don't like seeing them wilt in the afternoon, you'll want to move them to a site that receives morning sun but afternoon shade. 3-4 hours of morning sun should be enough to encourage blooming all summer long. Enjoy your garden!
