|I just bought a lisbon lemmon tree from one of your dealers.
We live outside Phila. Pa.
I'm confused as to keeping it as a potted plant and take it in the the winter months, or plant it outside.
If outside is OK, what are the best steps to take to preserve it through the winter months?
Please advise what I should do.
|There is no way it would survive a winter outdoors in your area -- it is only hardy in warm winter climates such as Florida. So, you must grow this tree as a container plant and bring it indoors in the winter. Here are some general care instructions for container citrus that you may find helpful. You may need to cut and paste the complete url into your browser to make it work correctly.
Enjoy your new tree!
