|I bought a green-leaved euryops to be used a a container plant, outside during the summer and taken into the sunroom for the winter.
How do I get the plant to bloom? Will it bloom in the sunroom duriing the winter? How long is the flowering season? Care during the winter?
|Euryops grows in full sunshine, in well-draining soils. It should be covered with yellow flowers all summer long if you keep the spent flowers trimmed off. Euryops will bloom almost year-round if taken indoors in late summer. It's a perfect indoor plant for a bright location. Water regularly and fertilize once a month during growing season with balanced liquid fertilizer. Euryops do not like temps below 50?, but will tolerate it for short periods. As long as it receives bright light and warm temperatures, and you keep the spent flowers trimmed, Euryops should bloom indoors during the winter months. Enjoy your plant!|
