The India rubber plant is a houseplant that needs bright light (preferably an east window), regular watering to keep the soil slightly moist (not sopping wet or saturated and not bone dry) and light fertilizing from spring to fall with a water soluble fertilizer for foliage plants per the label directions. It does well under average home conditions. Unfortunately, based on your description I am not sure if it is still alive, or not. If it is still supple and firm, and it is in suitable light, it may manage to send out new leaves if you are patient. Keep the soil barely damp like a wrung out sponge and hope for the best. Do not overfertilize it as this will stress it rather than help it.

Yucca needs very bright light and usually does best if planted in the garden. It needs full sun all day and a well drained soil. The browning may be a disease problem or may be related to overwatering and/or lack of light. I would suggest you consult with your county extension to see if it can be saved. I'm sorry about your plants.
