Spring flowering bulbs can certainly be deadheaded, meaning remove the faded flower and the flower stem. This helps direct the plant's energy back to rebuilding the bulb so it can bloom better next year, rather than to producing seeds. However, the foliage should be left alone to grow naturally as this is how the bulb replenishes itself. Once the foliage turns brown and dries then it, too, can be removed.
