I am in search of Painted Sage (Salvia viridis). Do you know where I can get it, and should I start it from seed or buy a plant? I believe it's an annual, correct? Do you know why it's so hard to find?

Salvia viridis is an annual;

I can't explain why Salvia viridis is hard to find, but I found seeds for you at Richter's Herbs at ph# 905-640-6677 or visit the website

Whether you start from seed or plant is reallyup to you. Obviously you get faster results from plants already started, but herb seeds are generally easy to grow, more readily available and cheaper.
